Disappointed with my experience. We just came for a special occasion, my boyfriend’s birthday. We drove around 30 miles just to try a cacio e Pepe pasta made in a wheel Parmesan cheese, but instead of that we got a regular plain spaghetti pasta with mushrooms.. we request cheese and pepper (that we didn’t taste in our pasta) and we said to our server that we were waiting for the show, he apologize but looks like they don’t care for customer service at all… we left without dessert, bad customer experience and a regular meal that I can take in any other place.
We went there for dinner on a Sunday night, the place was packed and looked very inviting, it’s cute and cozy. The ambiance gives you Italian vibes. We ordered aeprol and paper plane for cocktails, they were both nice. For appetizers we ordered burrata picante, it was overly sweet. It felt like eating sweet cheese with bread. For main course we had pappardelle pesto pasta, it was ok and their signature 100 year old recipe pizza, it mainly tasted like fried dough with tomato sauce, do not recommend. The people next to me complained the pizza they ordered tasted like cardboard.
Been here a few times now and waited to give an honest review. Honestly, the food is good (not amazing) but nothing is worth your dime if the service is horrible. Which it has been consistently each time I've been here. The waiters are always unreasonably rude and act as if you're below them or don't belong there for some reason. I did realize this attitude is more towards non-white customers. We had a waiter serve us plates/drinks multiple times by slamming them down and placing them on the edge of our table. Super lazy and unnecessary. The next visit, another waiter (George) came to our table to take our orders after a long wait (dining area was not busy yet) and did not introduce himself - just showed up and said 'okay' and gave us attitude when we didn't order our dishes in the order that he preferred lol When my partner asked if there was San Pellegrino fruit soda (since he doesn't drink alcohol), he scoffed and said "no but we have apple juice" - belittling him in front of our friends. It's one thing if he was trying to be funny but he said this in a serious and annoyed tone. I also witnessed this same waiter purposely bump his shoulder into an asian customer who was walking to the bathroom. There was enough time and room for him to also walk past without bumping her (or he could've waited on the side until she passed like a normal gentleman?). He did not apologize and moved right past her. She stood in shock and since she was timid, she didn't say anything to him.
We went there for Mother's Day. We went back for Father's Day. The food was excellent. People are super friendly. They made it very comfortable and enjoyable. I highly recommend it 👍👍🍷🍷🍾🍾♥️♥️
I have been to your restaurant so many times and I have always left with a smile on face, today was not good at all! I did a pick up order for a PEPPERONI & STRACCIATELLA pie and was told it will be ready in 20 mins. I got there in 22 mins. The pizza was freezing cold. I bring this to the attention of the waitress and she apologized and had a new pizza made and listen I don't need money back at all but the least you could of done was offer a free soda or a glass of water. I hate and despise giving bad reviews but today you earned it. Not even an apology but was quick to take my money. When I opened the new box I should've just stayed with the cold pie instead. I have ordered and picked up Dominos that was better than what I had. You didn't lose a customer but I need to be convinced to come back to your restaurant. It was very disappointing. I am not asking for a refund but please acknowledge that yes your establishment is gorgeous and the food has always been phenomenal, but you guys struck out today.
An incredible new Italian spot, serving up some seriously delicious and amazing dishes! You absolutely must get their Woodfire pizza, the one with the pursuit on top is my favorite, but all of them are incredible! And I cannot brag enough about the spicy rigatoni vodka, it’s definitely giving carbone a run for its money and you don’t have to take the truck all the way to Manhattan to get it! The short rib was absolutely incredible and also the pesto, literally everything on this menu was amazing and all the desserts just get them!
The pizza here is good napoletian style pizza. If you are looking for American style large pizza this isn’t the place. The pizzas are small and sometimes the crust is not crispy. The service is good but you get the feeling like you don’t belong if that makes sense. If you aren’t dressed as a Miami type. The best way I can describe this place is a Pizza Place in a garage with a pizza oven with fancy cars outside and a speakeasy upstairs that does private events. Invite only events so the average Joe has no shot of getting in. Pizza place in a garage in NJ that’s all it is
Amazing place. Great ambiance. Loved the wood fired pizza. Excellent service even though it was a busy night. Saturday evening was like a 40 minute wait - but they called us before 30 min. The food and drinks Made the wait so worth it. Also, if you love zinfandel’s try the 100 year year old aged whiskey barrel wine. It will not disappoint.
